Card & Scrapbooking Workshops will also be offered. Please check back on February 1st and you will be able to see the page you will be working on if you choose to do the workshop.

My First Teaching Day

Yesterday it was a fun day visiting and scrapbooking with 4 amazing women that share my passion for scrapbooking and card making.

We did a waterfall technique for a scrapbook page.  I have done them for cards and now have added this to my scrapbooking.  It was fun to do and I now know what it is like when I am teaching instead of being the one learning.

The women were helpful and we all learned something new.  It was great spending time with my friends and I am looking forward to the next time we get together.

I am now going to get working on a new project for my daughters gathering and when I am done I will take pictures of it.  I never thought to take a picture of the finished pages.  I will have to remember to this next time and post them for everyone to see and enjoy.

Close To My Heart has some fabulous ideas and I got this one from the book Majic.  I have found some other really neat ideas that I had never thought of and cannot wait to share.

New Catalogues and Product

My new catalogues have arrived and some of the new product I ordered. 

I am excited to share the new product and books and my daughter is the lucky one to see it first as her booking for her gathering the 2nd of February.

I wish I could order all the new product at one time but alas I cannot. I will work on it though.  There are just so many great products.

The weather is not very nice as it is getting colder.  I hope it is clear and the roads are good tomorrow as
I am holding a scrapbooking/carding making day and 4 of my friends are coming.  It will be an awesome day.  Great friends visiting and sharing while working on the projects they are passionate about.

I love the Saskatchewan sky. I find it relaxing, vibrant and wild at times. A scrapbooking project for the near future I do believe.

First Gathering is Booked

Hello everyone.  I am still working on some scrapbooking.  I have everything cut and pictures selected and now to get it all together. Also I am trying to add more pictures to the pages than the plan calls for therefore a search ensued and a couple of ideas were found and now to find which one works the best.

I have booked my first gathering.  My stuff is on order and should be here next week. Then to get ready and try the project.  I can't wait to start sharing and having fun with others who enjoy scrapbooking and card making. 

I will soon have my cards that I made the other day on my blog.  I just have to take some pictures. My husband "Are you still making Christmas cards?" Me "Yes and I am now 15 cards ahead of where I was in December of last year."  

It will be the last Christmas cards I make until November of this year but there are many more types to make before then.

Avonlea Workshop On the Go by CTMH

I found the Avonlea Scrapbooking Workshop On The Go fun and interesting.  I also learned how to correct mistakes made on the different projects.
Being the rebel that I am I did add a couple of things to the pages (mostly because of my mistakes -Never, Never open your ink pads over your work.).

This is what I created with the Avonlea Scrapbook Workshop On The Go.

This is the first layout that is the original layout.  The white circle blocks the face of a child that is not mine.

This is the second layout I made and had to add some extra matting as I did not have 5x7 photos. It was fun to plan it a little different and I still had paper left over.  

This is the bonus project. The box was an extra purchase.
I still have some paper and a few other items left over so I will see what else I can find to make with the leftovers.

I also made cards with the  Avonlea Workshop On the Go Card Kit.

This kit makes 15 cards. Five each of 3 designs.

You may have to get a few other items depending on the inks etc. that you have on hand.

Studio J Fun

Hello everyone and I hope this finds you healthy, happy and having a great first day of 2013.  I have received my Studio J  jpeg files so I can add pictures of them.  I had fun playing with the program and creating my scrapbook pages.  I will now try to post the pictures.

Success!!!. Now to add one more.  I did five 2 page spreads but I am only going to include two of them.

Here is the second one.  You can change many different items.  You can add items and resize them as well.
