Sangria WSOTG and Club

Hello Everyone,
Club is up and running. There is room for a couple more people. Come out and have some fun and make a couple of pages.

Here are the pages I made following the workshop.

I then made these two pages with a different colour scheme and used it for club. The ladies had fun making the pages. I guess I should have cleaned up the pages before taking the picture. Ha Ha.

This was the card we made. It is a CTMH gathering project. It was fun and easy to make.

I am looking forward to the next club to see how the ladies interpret the page.

Have fun everyone and enjoy the lovely weather for as long as it holds.

Some Things I learned

Well I had been to Carnival and took some classes. Three to be accurate.  I had a lot of fun and got some scrapbooking done as well.

I met some new people and some friends I met there last year.

Vintage Box Set Nicole Wright

Reverse Canvas Nicole Wright

Mixed Media Christy Riopel

I am looking forward to next year and some more things to learn.

August Fun

Hello Everyone,

I have been busy with holidays and my granddaughter this past month. I guess it is time to get back to work and get busy catching up with things I have not been doing.

I hope you all have been having a great summer. So far it has been wonderful with lots of sun and maybe a little to much heat. I guess we should not complain as it will soon be 40 below and snow. No more golfing then.

I am getting back into scrapbooking and am looking forward to ordering some more of the new product this month. I am so excited to be able to share a all the beautiful new paper and embellishments. There are a few new colours coming and they are awesome.

The Zoe Paper Pack ready to be ordered this month. Also the embellishments.
Scrapbook Fun

There is a new Cricut cartridge - Artistry and it comes with a the Enchantment combo pack which includes the new colours. There is also a digital copy of the Artistry cartridge. Scrapbook fun

The August stamp of the month is very nice.

The specials for August are the roll ups (a couple of the new products) if you purchase a roll up you receive either a stamp set or the new base and bling sheets.

I have the books here and if anyone wants one let me know. There are two and you can start ordering in September.

I will have everything listed on the side or on the top of the blog.  You can also go to my website to see the new product.

I am going to host a card making night once a month if anyone is interested. I am going to hold them on the first Monday and Tuesday of the first full week of each month starting in October. Scrapbooking club will also start in the fall. It will be once a month on a Thursday night. Let me know if you wish to attend either. I have room for six people on each of the nights.

Take care and have a great month.

July

Hello Everyone,

I am at home for a couple of days and I am just letting you know that the July special is coming to a close.

Check it out on my website.

Thursday, 28 May 2015

Early for June

I have posted the June stamp of the month and the Special for June as I am not going to be near an internet service for a number of days.

The May stamp of the month and the May special are still on. Just hop on over to my website to check them out. Scrapbook Fun

Have a great weekend everyone.

Blossom Card

I made 30 shower cards for my daughters baby shower in June.
I made the tags a little smaller than the book.

The idea came from the Expressions 2 Idea book.  I liked the design and loved the paper pack as she had a girl.

I can't wait to make the fruit things for the shower. They should be fun. LOL.  Could be interesting. Soapstone carving may come in handy when I go to carve the fruit.

I used all CTMH product. The Blossom paper pack, Shower Flowers stamp set both from the Seasonal Expression 2 book. The card is on page 11. I used the recommended stamp pads and Cricut cartridge. Go to my website and checkout the recipes for each book. Enjoy.   Scrapbook Fun

Card Buffet

Hello Everyone,

I am planning on running a card buffet in the fall.
If you are interested in joining the fun please contact me.
There will be a couple of rules.  The main one is All cards have to be made that evening before you leave.

There will be more details later in June.  The information will also be in the July newsletter.

The buffet will be held at my place and I am looking at the first Monday and Tuesday of the first full week of each month. You will have your choice of days unless the one day is full. I have room for 6 people each night. I may be able to squeeze in 7.  It will be fun.

Have a great weekend and I hope the weather is nice.

I am off to try my hand at something new. Soapstone carving! I guess we will see how that goes. I think the only things I don't have are carving tools but I figured I didn't need them until I decide if this new adventure is something I wish to pursue.

This months challenge is Confetti Wishes paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.

I used the Confetti Wishes Workshop On The Go.  I made a couple of changes as I also had the Complements as well. I used the complements in place of some of the stamping and titles.
I also added some bitty sparkles and larger sparkles.
I triple matted some of the photos as I did not have 5x7 photos. I also, on the second pages made the  photos a little larger as I could not cut them down enough.
The only problem with photos I printed 23 years ago. LOL.

You also then get a chance to earn the rolling tote. It is an awesome product.

I have both and love them.

The rolling tote holds the CTMH organizers and a lot of other product.
If you are thinking of joining now is the time.

I have changed my blog to the April specials as I have a busy day tomorrow and may not get time to change them.

Have a great week and Easter holiday.

Monday

Monday will bring a new post with some new things I have done.

Tomorrow I am off for a day of fun, visiting and scrapbooking .

I am making a dessert that will be yummy. I then need to get on packing up stuff.

A little curling this evening. I would love to see all the games but the time difference
may not accommodate me. Having to be loaded and on the road by 8:30 in the morning is not conducive to

watching curling at 2:00 am. I guess I am just not as young as I used to be. LOL

I am hoping to finish a bunch of things I started and then move on to some new things.

I have received my order of some new product from the Seasonal Expressions 2 that starts April 1st. I am working on the things I chose the product for this weekend. It will be fun. New stamp sets, new bling and new paper packs. I can't wait to share them.

Have a great weekend everyone and happy scrapbooking and crafting.

A little bling and some rock and roll. I had fun creating this card even the inside which is shown below.  Also did some sponging.

Pages I Had Fun Doing

I had fun making these pages. I used some old CTMH Papers and some new. I used CTMH Inks Stamp Sets. I used some feathers, flowers and wood shapes that I have had forever that are not CTMH and have been in my stash for a long time. I used metal flowers and CTMH wood shapes that are no longer available and Laughing Lola PML cards.

I found my inspiration from page patterns published in Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. I was having trouble feeling inspired and creative this month. Of course I used my own measurements and made some small changes to suit my photos and colours.

I used:    Timberline (NLA)
               Seaside paper pack
               Cashmere cardstock
               A Thing Well Done
               Indian Corn Blue Ink
               Black Ink
               Cashmere Ink
               CTMH wood pieces (NLA)
               Laughing Lola PML
               CTMH Silver Sequins
               CTMH Sparkles
From stash of UKN flowers & feathers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   I will finish journalling my youngest son's Baptism this weekend.

Seaside paper pack
Avonlea paper (NLA)
Hopscotch paper pack
Cashmere cardstock (I think)
Real Life, A Thing Well Done
 Shin Han Markers
Cashmere Ink
Metal Flowers (NLA)
Pearls in the center of the flowers.
Indigo Blu Crackleglaze Background
Wood pieces & Flowers from stash (UKN)
CM puzzle and heart punches UKN fern punch

I am not sure what I was up to but it looks like I am up to no good. LOL! My oldest children and I on my birthday in 1993. I am pregnant with my youngest that would be born in August.

I think I have listed everything. I hope that I have not missed anything. I love my Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine.

My Lego London Tower in the background makes for a great stand when taking photos of my pages. LOL!!
