Hopscotch HWBH March

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop.

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features
Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada
showing you their projects. The hearts of the west team was founded by Nancy Klein.

This months challenge is the Hopscotch paper
pack, brought to you by the new Expressions 1, hand picked from Nancy Klein.

If you came from Valarie Kapsha's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

For the cards I used:

Hopscotch paper pack
Ink: Smoothie, Indian Corn Blue, Flaxen, Cashmere
Epoxy Bubbles - Tan and Brown (no longer available)
Bronze Shimmer Trim
Various Washi Tape (CTMH)
Stamp Sets: A Thing Well Done, Distressed Backgrounds, Your Own Kind of Wonderful, Love This

A little bling and some rock and roll. I had fun creating this card even the inside which is shown below.  Also did some sponging.
Had fun playing with the different CTMH washi tape. I love the Amazing. I used a little Shimmer Trim, did some background stamping and sponging. The inside of the card will only be seen by the person I decide to send it to as I had an interesting time with it. A person can always fix the oopsies one way or another. LOL!

Your next stop is Corinna Murphy's Blog.

Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month
to see what creative projects we can bring to you! Thank you
for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.

Pages I Had Fun Doing

I had fun making these pages. I used some old CTMH Papers and some new. I used CTMH Inks Stamp Sets. I used some feathers, flowers and wood shapes that I have had forever that are not CTMH and have been in my stash for a long time. I used metal flowers and CTMH wood shapes that are no longer available and Laughing Lola PML cards.

I found my inspiration from page patterns published in Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. I was having trouble feeling inspired and creative this month. Of course I used my own measurements and made some small changes to suit my photos and colours.

I used:    Timberline (NLA)
               Seaside paper pack
               Cashmere cardstock
               A Thing Well Done
               Indian Corn Blue Ink
               Black Ink
               Cashmere Ink
               CTMH wood pieces (NLA)
               Laughing Lola PML
               CTMH Silver Sequins
               CTMH Sparkles
From stash of UKN flowers & feathers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   I will finish journalling my youngest son's Baptism this weekend.

Seaside paper pack
Avonlea paper (NLA)
Hopscotch paper pack
Cashmere cardstock (I think)
Real Life, A Thing Well Done
 Shin Han Markers
Cashmere Ink
Metal Flowers (NLA)
Pearls in the center of the flowers.
Indigo Blu Crackleglaze Background
Wood pieces & Flowers from stash (UKN)
CM puzzle and heart punches UKN fern punch

I am not sure what I was up to but it looks like I am up to no good. LOL! My oldest children and I on my birthday in 1993. I am pregnant with my youngest that would be born in August.

I think I have listed everything. I hope that I have not missed anything. I love my Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine.

My Lego London Tower in the background makes for a great stand when taking photos of my pages. LOL!!
